Comfort is key when it comes to fashion. I like to feel comfortable while looking appropriate for the situation. Today's post I share with you three casual office outfits styling three pieces I picked out from Misook. Check out Misook
HERE (use:MSK1791 for 25% off good thru December) . The brand reached out to see if I'd be interested in styling a few pieces from them. I was excited for the challenge of styling the pieces they offer to fit my lifestyle and thought it would be fun to create casual office outfits appropriate for out of office meetings or casual Fridays. Misook carries, quality, well made pieces that can add to any work wardrobe. I wanted to make each piece my own. Hopefully this inspires you to play with your office attire.
CASUAL OFFICE OUTFITS
I fell in love with this Wool Jacket with Grommet Trim. There are so many ways to style the jacket and the grommet trim adds a bit of edge to a conservative piece. It's also on sale right now! Shop HERE.
The quality of the piece is incredible. Definitely well made and easy to tailor if you need to shorten the sleeves. The fabric felt lovely on my skin and I decided to pair it with a basic black bodycon dress from Cotton On. The dress normally would be too form fitting for the office, but I found the jacket made the look appropriate for work. I also wanted to add a little fun and decided to wear my metallic silver boots from Topshop.
This Boot Skirt With Silver Studs was love at first sight. I love the details with the silver studs and just high enough slits to be sexy, but not show too much skin. The skirt is also really comfortable and pretty sturdy in material, holding me in all the right places. I would size down for this piece. Most of the clothing on Misook run a bit bigger, so size down when shopping. Shop the skirt
I paired the skirt with an oversize red sweater from Topshop to be festive for the holidays. This would be the perfect work to holiday party outfit for me. The booties were a find during Black Friday from Nordstrom for under $100! I'm all about mixing affordable finds and designer pieces.
Tip: depending on your office dress code, add opaque tights to look 1 and 2
This look is definitely for the more relaxed office. Maybe this might work for a casual Friday or out of office meeting. When it comes to cozy soft furry things, I'm a sucker for them. I just had to get the Faux Fur Vest from Misook currently on sale! Shop the vest HERE .
The jeans are from a recent shoot I did with bareMinerals, they were kind enough to give them to me because I love them so much. Because of the two tone, I think the outfit is more youthful and fun. They purchased the jeans about 2 sizes bigger for me to create the relaxed look. I belted it to hold them up and they are so freaking comfortable! Because I wanted the vest to be the centerpiece of my look, I wore a plain white thermal under the faux fur vest. My shoes are fake leather loafers from Zara about a year old.
Overall this look is probably my most go to. You'll see me running errands and going about my life wearing this. Still put together, but comfortable.
