A RMS BEAUTY MénagE à Trois

I honestly feel most like myself with just a little concealer, cream blush, cream highlight, brows, and mascara. For months now I have forgone foundation and any major contour. My makeup routine has reverted back to my early college days where lack of time made me a wiz at the 3 minute makeup routine (before YouTube and before the 5 minute makeup challenge was a thing). It’s no wonder I’ve fallen madly in love with RMS Beauty the last year. RMS Beauty is clean and toxic free makeup at its best. None of the nasties, all of the performance. Here's what started the love affair.

THE RMS BEAUTY LOVE AFFAIR

My first entra into RMS Beauty was with the un-cover up shade #22. I use this as a concealer all over my face. It’s ultra lightweight with good buildable coverage and so far I can’t put it down and it’s been a year. Every time I try something else, I miss this little pot of gold. It melts into the skin while covering imperfections and redness, two of my daily skincare issues. The un-cover up also moisturizes and heals the skin. Can you say that about your current concealer? Needless to say this little frosted pot was the beginning of a love affair.

GLOW BABY GLOW

The next product to be added to my ménage à trois is the magic luminizer. This beautiful cream highlight gives me the perfect radiant glow from within. Want more wooph? Layer with a powder highlight over. I like to apply this as a “c” from my cheekbones up and around my orbital bone. I’ve also used it to plump up my lips by applying it to the center of my pout and cupids bow.

GIVE ME LIFE

The newest addition is the lip2cheek in spell. The perfect rosy blush to give me a healthy flush. Ultra sheer and buildable, I find myself incredibly happy with this little pot of rouge. I’ve even used it on my eyes (though it does get a bit sticky in the summer heat, but I love the glossy lid look). I’m also eyeing the shades smile and paradise.

TOXIC FREE + HIGH PERFORMANCE

Gone are the days where toxic free means barely there pigmentation, weird textures, and crap products. RMS Beauty is the exact toxic free beauty I’m looking for; simple, effortless, smooth, high performance, and pretty to look at inside the pot and out.

I also love that all the products inspire creativity because they can be used a multitude of ways. Love makeup brushes? Great! Use it with a brush. Can’t be bothered to have tools? Great use it with your fingers. Don’t like to color inside the lines? Perfect, RMS Beauty is meant to be use all over the face, so color where ever you like. It's all toxic free so apply to your hearts content.

With all of these products, I immediately enjoyed using them, but it wasn’t until I would rotate other products in my routine that I realized how much I love each little frosted pot because of how much I missed them. Like any great love story, you never appreciate the other as much until they are away or heartbreakingly gone.

It’s also worth it to note, while the pots look small, there is way more product in them than you realize. I’m going a year strong on the un-coverup and will most likely have to replace it soon because we are dealing with natural ingredients. Hopefully I’ll use most of it up before it’s gone bad (12 months from opening). But either way, I’ve gotten my $36 worth.

OMG I have been eyeing RMS products for a while now! After going through their products I’m mostly interested in trying out their signature sets! I think the whole idea for the little palettes are for people to try out best selling products altogether for a significant lower price instead of buying each product. I mean you do get less product in the little palette but still decent amount. But the thing that has stopped me from buying it is that I can’t decide which collection to get! There are 2 collections one is Mod collection supposedly for more natural looks and the other is Pop collection which is more colorful. Both seem nice! Argh I want them both! well the realistic thing is I think I only need one lol
Serein I know you got quite a lot of new products to test out for this month but I would love to see you do a comparison video on the 2 palettes in the future!

I love the un-coverup it’s pretty buildable. I like using a soft setting powder to avoid any moving around during the summertime too. Recommend the Ilia Soft Focus powder or the Glossier Wowder 🙂
