Hello MONDAY! I’m so excited this week because I actually have multiple days where all I have to do is focus on filming, editing, and writing. No events, no meetings, no obligations to be somewhere! My favorite part of what I do is working from home and creating content. While events and meetings are fun for me to learn about new brands, product launches, and experiencing new things, I really love creating content and answering comments. So let’s just get down to it. This week I gave the new Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette a run along with the LORAC Beauty and The Beast Collection. You can watch today’s video HERE for a full review. Below are detailed swatches and shoppable links. Catch up on all of Makeup Bag Monday HERE.
WHAT IS MAKEUP BAG MONDAY?
Each week I rotate my makeup bag with new product launches and makeup from my makeup collection. Originally this series started here on sereinwu.com, I have since moved it to my YouTube Channel. I am now bringing back Makeup Bag Monday on the blog! Come back every Monday for detailed makeup reviews and find out what I have selected for the upcoming week. MBM blog post will have closeup photos and true to life swatches to help with any of your shopping needs. Think of it as a readers digest to go along with the YouTube videos.
URBAN DECAY NAKED HEAT PALLET
When Urban Decay decides to drop a new naked palette, the beauty world goes into a tizzy. Urban Decay Naked Heat Pallet was defiently the stand out this week. Full of beautiful rich warm neutrals, this palette is perfect for the warm eyeshadow lover. Pigmentation is consistent and there are plenty of mattes and shimmers to create endless spicy warm eye looks.
LORAC BEAUTY AND THE BEAST COLLECTION
Next up I tried out the entire LORAC Beauty and The Beast makeup collection. The stand out of this collaboration for me is the cheek palette. Buttery, smooth, pigmented, and easy to blend. Perfect for my dry cheeks. Love the beautiful packaging too. The lip sets are also a great value for your money. Between $36 -$34 you get 5 shades per set. Great quality and variety of lip colors for the price. I’m a little on the fence about the eyeshadow palette. While the quality is great, the variety of shades leaves me a bit meh. I created a few fun looks, but defiently not my everyday eyeshadow palette and a bit too bulky for my taste. If you love the movie, you’ll love the palette and be happy with the eyeshadow quality.
