Bare Minerals recently came out with their new Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. This new innovative product is suppose to combine the best of cc, bb, and tinted moisturizer in one. Hydration of the skin should improve within one week of use. It contains broad spectrum spf 30 and comes in 10 shades. Sounds like my type of product.
I’m a huge fan of Bare Minerals as a brand. I think that Bare Minerals has some of the best mineral products out there, so I was really excited about the new product.
Sadly after a few hours of wear this product did not work for me. When I first applied it, I was happy. It’s light weight, evens out my complexion, has a physical SPF, and made my skin look healthy and plump. I thought I might have found my new everyday goto. Within a few hours the product started to slip and slide on my face. I had used my typical Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder and it just wasn’t cooperating. Not only did the product wear off and make me look like a greasy mess, it started to make my skin texture look off.
To see the product break down on me, watch my first impressions video here.
For those who have incredibly dry skin or mature skin, this might be the answer for you. For combination skin, slightly oily skin, and oil skin, this most likely will not wear well on you.
Have you tried the Complexion Rescue yet? Do you have dry skin? Will you?
