Dolly and Cooper are my children. I know many who do not have dogs or pets, can’t grasp the concept of fur babies, but it’s a real thing. I’ve had Dolly and Cooper for seven years and cannot imagine life without them. Dolly can sense when I’m upset and will stay by my side to comfort me for hours. Cooper is usually a neurotic mess because he takes after me personality wise. In fact he looks like me too. Dolly looks like Chris when he had hair, lol. Finding a good dog grooming service can be a challenge when moving to a new neighborhood. We moved to Pasadena end of 2016 and have been looking for a dog groomer since. I am happy to report, I’ve found our new spot for dog grooming and it’s amazing!

My favorite thing about the new Splash and Dash Grooming and Boutique, is its location. Located at 168 W Green St, Pasadena, CA 91105, it’s walking distance for us. Conveniently located in Old Town Pasadena, you can find street parking on Green or Pasadena Ave. to drop off and pick up. What better way to start the day than a nice walk with the babies before dropping them off at the spa. That’s what Chris and I call it for them. I know we are ridiculous. It’s what happens when 30 somethings don’t have kids.

Now just because it’s close doesn’t mean it’s good, but in this situation we have found the best dog groomers for Dolly and Cooper. Both can be a bit skittish and because they are small, both are under 6lbs. they can lose focus in a new environment. The staff at Splash and Dash could not be friendlier. From the first phone call I made during the soft opening to our second appointment, they have been nothing but accommodating and friendly. The grooming they do on them is precise and exactly what I ask for. Just look at their before and after photos!

I recommend calling ahead of time to book an appointment. So far they have been great at fitting me in same day or next day, but I’m sure they will become busier, so call ahead. You will need your pet’s shot records for your first visit. My favorite part of the process is that Splash and Dash will send you an email notification or text reminder for your appointment and when your baby is done.
There are many dog grooming services offered from baths, teeth brushing, to full grooming. GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND
Many times I ask that Dolly and Cooper be kept together to limit their anxiety (okay really limit Cooper’s anxiety). Most places try, but I find they usually forget or are too busy to accommodate. I was assured by Splash and Dash that this would not be an issue and when picking up Dolly and Cooper, they were both calm and happy. Not always the case at other dog groomers. As much as Dolly can sense my emotions, I can usually sense thiers.
You can tell that everyone working at Splash and Dash Pasadena loves animals and is passionate about what they do. I think passion is something I am drawn to. Don’t care what you do, but if you are passionate at it, I’m interested and want to support your business.

What cute little furbabies! Before I had human children (ha!), I had furbabies. My Mom even called them her Grandpups. Finding the right groomer for you, is such a relief. Winston, my Maltese, is also very anxious, and I had a very hard time finding the right groomer for him. So glad you found yours!!
Fur babies are a real thing, I totally agree. My friends come to my house and think that its weird that I have framed pictures of my dogs. Haha, but they’re so cute I can’t resist. & Dolly’s after picture is so adorable, you actually have the cutest dogs ever.
