Do you ever have the feeling of deja vu? Makeup Bag Monday’s are starting to feel like this for me. This week’s Makeup Bag Monday I incorporated new product launches from Too Faced, Avene, L’oreal, as well as some makeup I’ve been wanting to try from Maybelline and Laura Mercier. This week is full of the most failed makeup products I’ve used in one Makeup Bag Monday. Because of the failed makeup products, I was unhappy with my makeup looks for most of the week, which of course didn’t help with my mood.
I know many of you are sad to see this series come to an end after a year, but I am ready. Lately I’ve been feeling creatively stilted. As type A as I am, I need freedom to create content that I’m interested in. I’ve been feeling depressed the past few weeks. Normally I throw myself into work and working out, but it’s been rough. A combination of grief, insecurities, and stress has made be very down. The past weekend, I made two conclusions. One, I need change. Two, I’ve gotten caught up in what others are doing and what they think of me. Never a good thing. There are so many exciting ideas in my head that I cannot wait to execute and share with you, but till then, enjoy the last three Makeup Bag Mondays.
