NCLA x Disney Nail Wraps

Nail wraps are the easiest way to jazz up your manicure. They are perfect for travel and at home manicures. I'm wearing the Snow White Nail Wraps as an accent nail along with a deep red NCLA polish. Shop the fun Disney nail wrap collection HERE. Each set is available for $17.95.

I've had so many compliments on my nails recently thanks to the nail wraps. For me I can do it fast and there's no dry time, which makes my typical last minute at home manicures a breeze. I also find nail wraps to last longer than traditional polishes.

My favorite thing about fall manicures are the colors because I'm drawn to deep reds and greys. I always say do what makes you happy, but there's just something about fall and deep rich colors while in the summer I prefer light pinks, whites, and neon.

NCLA Nail Polish

This is my first time playing with NCLA nail polish. I'm happy to report that the polish has lasted a full week without any chips. The edges are defiently worse for wear, but not bad. I'm quite impress with the quality.

Jin Soon

On my toes I've been wearing Jin Soon nail polish in Milieu (new for fall) and loving the color and longevity. Upon first application, there was a bit of trial and error. I found that I needed a full 2 coats. The brush was a bit drippy, so make sure to have a paper towel near by. Once applied and dried, the polish looks beautiful and has been on my toes for a few weeks now. The real test will be when I apply it on my hands.

Affordable Favorites

I'm also a fan of Sally Hansen nail polishes. Their Complete Salon Manicure is a great drugstore polish that comes in a ton of shades. KL Polish also makes some fun colors at a fair price. Bonus I love Kathleenlights.

1: Soak (I'm usually in a bath or shower before doing my nails. This helps soften the cuticles and nails for easy shaping and trimming)

2: Trim & File (I prefer a crystal nail file. It just feels nicer and lasts longer)

3: Use an at home cuticle remover solution like the Sally Hansen one. (super quick & easy)

4: Nourish Cuticles with an oil or balm. Try this one from Burt's Bees

5: Clean (use a nail polish remover to clean off the nail before applying polish)

6: Base coat. (I love the Orly Bonded for my base coat. This actually makes my polishes last longer)

7: Apply nail polish of choice (wait a minute before applying 2nd coat of polish)

8: Apply top coat (I know isn't the the healthiest, but the Seche Vite top coat is the best I've found)

STEP 8: Clean Up! I like to use a qtip dipped in polish remover to clean up the edges. (You can also use Mani Guard Stickers before polish to avoid any mistakes.)

That Sally Hansen cuticle remover is so good. I’ve been using it since high school.

Have you tried the Wet n Wild gel coat polishes? Not only are they super cheap, but they flippin last forever on the nails! They’ve added some great colors recently that just scream fall. You should check them out 🙂
