I never thought I would be a pant suit type of gal, but in today’s outfit of the day fashion blog post, I am in love with this two piece floral pant suit from 12Ten Apparel. Pairing the two pice with my Chloe Lauren Scalloped Ballet Flats made for a put together and comfortable outfit. When it comes to fashion, for me, comfort is important. If I am comfortable and feel good in what I wear, I am able to be comfortable and confident throughout my day. There is nothing worse than feeling self conscious, tugging on clothes, or constantly having to adjust what you are wearing. Been there, done that. My motto for beauty, fashion, and life, is do what make you feel beautiful and confident.
This particular outfit was for Generation Beauty by Ipsy (yes I know I’m way behind 0n blog posts!). I knew from experience last year, that there would be doing a lot of walking, a lot of standing. Heels of any kind were out of the question. Major lesson learned. I don’t care how comfortable a pair of heels are, they do not make them for walking and standing around for 12 hours. I also wanted to wear pants incase I needed to sit on the floor or steps. Remembering it being really hot last year, I did not want to be too warm. When I was searching for what to wear, (the bane of my existence, since I’ve down sized my wardrobe, gained weight, lost weight, and trying to shop on a budget) I came across this two piece from 12Ten Apparel at Dietch PR. The floral print reminded me of something my mom would be drawn to, but I tried it on and I fell in love.
I love the high waisted cut of the pants. With my long torso and narrow waist, it showed off the flattering parts of my body. The flare of the cropped pants are also very on trend and offered nice airflow for the heat. Typically I avoid crop tops, but pairing the crop with the pants was the perfect amount of skin showing without being too revealing and without looking like I shopped my mom’s closet. The cross cut back is also adorable and again offers breathability from heat.
Lately I have notice how my poor feet have lost all tolerance for uncomfortable shoes. The years of being a dancer, running round in 4 inch heels, and staying out late dancing, has killed my feet. This is why I will invest money in comfortable, classic style shoes. The Chloe Lauren Scalloped Ballet Flats are perfect for a full day on my feet. There are no seams on the shoe, so no chaffing or odd blisters. The slight heel offers just enough support that most flats do not provide. The leather is buttery soft and ultra light weight. I choose the overseas blue because I thought it would be nice to mix a bit of color in my wardrobe, but still be versatile to wear with everything.
Overall I was quite happy with my outfit choice, I felt put together, confident, and myself. I stepped outside of my typical jeans and t-shirt, but managed to remain true to my fashion sense. What do you think of my floral pant suit? Would you wear this? What is the one thing you like to spend your money on when it comes to fashion? I would love to know.

aw thank you so much Sarah!
I will definitely wear it! Its unique, comfortable, and very fashion trendy. I like how the design of the it is simple yet its artistic rather then small flower designs the big flowers gives more confidence in the outfit. And you will be able to wear it all spring and summer. The shoes is just a perfect match with every outfit you have. “Spending for something you will wear and comfortable is worth it but spending it on somethings you know you won’t wear and feel uncomfortable just for the look isn’t” that is one of my philosophy on buying things (ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥
