Glossier Phase 2 Set Review

Most day’s I am all about the no makeup makeup look. If you watch my channel or follow my blog, you know that I believe in taking care of your skin so that you can feel comfortable naked (without makeup that is). Glossier is launching 2 new makeup products in the new Glossier Phase 2 Set, available March 14th. I am a long time fan of Glossier products. I love their motto “skin is in.” Staying true to the brand, the new Glossier Phase 2 set is a specially curated collection of makeup staples that won’t cover you up, but instead enhance your natural beauty. These are no fuss makeup products designed for the woman on the go, who want a practical everyday makeup look.

 

My favorite out of the whole set is the Stretch Concealer (will be available separately for $18). I wear the shade medium and it blends beautifully. This is a “new type of concealer that looks and moves just like your real skin thanks to elastic micro waxes and nourishing oils for a dewy finish. Swirl and gently pat onto moisturized skin. You can watch my video where I demo all the products and for more info. I found this concealer to be unlike any concealer I own and I love it. The creamy almost a little oily texture glides on wonderfully under the eyes and sets to a glossy finish that is defiantly build able. Unlike a lot of pot concealers, this one is not hard, dry, or caky. I find myself reaching for this everyday to wear with a tinted moisturizer or on it’s own. I like to warm it up with my fingers and blend it out with my beauty blender dry. For under the eyes I set immediately with a translucent powder.

Another new launch is the Generation G in four shades. These are “sheer, matte, lived-in lip color- no blotting, no liner necessary. Honestly, I have been looking for a lip product like this for years! Stains tend to dry out my lips or give me uneven pigmentation. The Generation G is seriously the best lip stains out there and I have tried a lot. I love how the color goes on smooth and easy like a lip balm, but stays put without cracking into the lips. All four shades are defiantly wearable and fit all skin tones. These give me those “I woke up like this, no I don’t put any effort to look this good” effortless lips.

 

I have been trying to get my hands on the Boy Brow for months! Finally it’s available and it was worth the wait. Boy Brow is “the only brow product you need to thicken, fill in, and groom all at once. Apply in short, upward strokes for a soft, flexible hold that won’t crunch or flake.” (glossier)

Everything that glossier says about this product is true. It is the all in one wonder and for my unruly yet sparse brows, this is a magic wand. It’s a waxy high pigmented brow product with the most perfect brush. No wonder this baby has been sold out for months.
