Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer & GIVEAWAY

If you know me, you know how much I love my Hourglass Veil primer. I’m on my second full size bottle and have lost count on how many travel sizes I have gone through. Coming from a makeup junkie,  if I have gone through multiple bottles of anything, that’s a good product!  Today is all about the newest primers to the brand, the Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer. I filmed a quick video to share my thoughts and swatches on these beauties. Watch below.

The best part? I am hosting a giveaway in collaboration with Ipsy OS and Hourglass! THREE winners will win all THREE of the Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer I review in luminous light, dim light, and mood light. Each person can enter up to 2 times. Second entry is by sharing on Facebook. All you have to do is visit this link here to enter. Giveaway is open to U.S. and Canadian addresses only. This might all be repeated information if you follow me on Snapchat, since I always announce my giveaways (some secret ones too) on there first. So make sure you are following my snaps (sereinwu).

A Few Notes

With all of the Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primers, I recommend starting with fresh clean skin that is moisturized. These primers do not offer any hydration and work best on freshly moisturized skin. A little goes a long way. If you use too much, you’ll find the product to build up on the skin. These are very subtle washes of color that help correct the complexion. The finish is a smooth satin finish perfect for foundation prep. If you are super oily, I would recommend using a mattifying primer on your oily areas and then going in with the ambient light correcting primer focusing on the high points of your face. I did not find my makeup to last much longer by using the primers, but I did like the glow it offered my complexion. I personally prefer to wear these on their own for the full effect.

Luminous Light – offers a radiant glow. Helps with dullness and diffuses discoloration. Perfect for dry skin.

Dim Light – slight bronzer/gold undertone. Perfect with a slight tan to the complexion. Smooths and diffuses the skin. Would look amazing worn on it’s own at the beach.

Mood Light – lavender tint which counteracts redness. Perfect for fairer complexions.

The giveaway was fun, I didn’t win but thank you for the opportunity, Serein! I think I need to add Luminous Light primer into my list, it sounds perfect for my dry skin.
