In Love With BUXOM Lippies

BUXOM wildly whipped light weight liquid lipstick

BUXOM Wildly Whipped lightweight liquid lipstick is launching in March. I was at Ulta Beauty today and the carousel is ready for the new BUXOM Wildly Whipped products to hit stores any day now. Lucky me, I was able to get three shades of the new liquid lipstick formula before launch date and wanted to make sure I shared with you my review and swatches of these beauties. The new liquid lipstick is lightweight with a beautiful whipped texture that gives a soft-matte, medium to full coverage color. The formula is easy to apply and comfortable to wear. There is even a lip plumper in the the formula. The collection will launch with 12 shades and will be available at Ulta and Sephora online and in stores.

My favorite shade out of the three is Devious Dolly, it helps that my dog is named Dolly and she defiantly is a little devious. The neutral mauve shade is a perfect wearable everyday lip color that goes from everyday to evening with the build able color. The packaging is adorable and you get .16fl oz. of product. Quite a generous amount for $21. The applicator is nice and allows for ease of build able coverage.

As of now they are not available, but will keep you posted when they are! You don’t want to miss this new formula.

Along with the Wildly Whipped Liquid Lipsticks, I also received five Full On Lip Cream Ciao, Bella Collection. BUXOM makes some amazing lip glosses, my all time favorite is Mud Slide. I use it alone, over other lipsticks for a touch of a glossy pout, or to gloss up a lip liner. The vanilla tingly feeling is also really comforting, I don’t know why, but it is. The Ciao, Bella Collection is limited edition and launched December of 2015. You can find the collection at Sephora online and in stores. The Full On Lip Creams have no shimmer, no glitter, just creamy, smooth gloss with the right amount of pigmentation. The formula is also infused with hyaluronic filling spheres the help infuse lips with moisture along with vitamins A & E.

When it comes to lip products, I am very picky. When it comes to a lip gloss, it’s almost impossible for me to find a formula that I love and will want to reapply. BUXOM and Jouer (use SEREIN15 for 15% off Jouer orders) make some of my favorite lip glosses and with the matte lip trend that has been going strong for awhile now, I think I might be wearing these glosses a lot more for a change of pace.

What are some of your favorite lip gloss formulas? I hate a sticky gloss, I would love to read your suggestions in the comments.

xoxo

I’m also not a lipgloss girl but I do love lip glosses in summer because they feel lighter on the lips. The new Buxom shades look lovely, I’ll definitely pick up some summer shades.

Totally agree! I like the feel of the Buxom ones and the Jouer ones too, but most glosses are just too much stickiness for me :-p Thanks for stopping by Beti!
