Minimal Makeup Bag ~ Makeup Bag Monday #12

Another Monday, another Makeup Bag Monday week 12. This past week was a pretty busy one with tons of filming a fun photoshoot with DMK Cosmetics (my original holy grail foundation discovery) and lots of glowing makeup! There is nothing that makes me happier than when the products I pick out for the week work beautifully and I truly love them all. They make me enjoy putting on makeup and that makes me happy. Call me silly, but when I enjoy the products I get to play with, it just starts my day off on a high note. Probably why I talk about beauty products so much :-p Anyways this week I decided to keep a minimal makeup bag, since I will be testing out the new Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in A Palette. This coveted luxury palette is suppose to include everything you need for a quick everyday full face put together look. The rest of my minimal makeup bag products are all based off of this Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette. I didn’t want to choose a blush or bronzer or eyeshadow as I really wanted to see what this palette could do and if I would think it is worth the $75 price tag. Plus I always have dreams of being able to keep a truly minimal makeup collection. Probably never going to happen, but a gal can dream can’t she?

Let’s wrap up last week with my thoughts on how all the glowing makeup products performed. Read last weeks post here.

Last Week’s Glowing Makeup Bag

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette $52

Truly an amazing palette. I love this baby. Everything is beautifully pigmented, the packaging is gorgeous, and it includes a large mirror. Most of the week I wore the mineral blush in amaretto with the luminizing blush rose sprits layers on top. I then would switch off between prosecco pop and champing pop, some days wearing both. My highlight was on major fleek. Read/ Watch my full review. Also if you are hesitant at the $52 price tag, it’s really a great value as the pan size of each product is very close to the full size individuals ranging from $38-$41 each. The face palette should be back in stock June 16th, but it’ll be the last restock. So make sure to get it ASAP!

Too Faced Soleil Matte Bronzer in Chocolate $30

An oldie and a goodie. Love this matte bronzer that smells like chocolate. The slight whiff of chocolate thought the day is up lifting. Love the formula that is easy to blend and smooth.

100% Pure Maracuja Mascara: Dark Chocolate $25

LOVE this mascara. Already a fan of the Blackberry version, this is the dark chocolate version that smells like chocolate! It’s definitely lifting and lengthening, to the extreme. For me the formula lasts all day and doesn’t smudge or budge. I do find that you need to wipe off the excess on the brush for better application.

100% Pure Fruit Pigment Foundation Powder in White Peach $39

My new favorite setting powder. Alone, I’m not sure this is enough coverage or how I would like it at all, but to set my makeup, It’s wonderful. The formula is smooth, blend-able, and offers a nice natural finish. Lasts all day with minimal retouching if any at all. Kept my shine away, but also did not cling to my drier areas.
