New Year! 2016 In Review & Looking Forward

Happy New Year! I can’t believe Christmas and New Year’s are over! Time just flies by around the holidays. This Christmas I’ve had a lot to reflect on for the past year. With each new year, I like to look back on my disappointments as well as my achievements before moving forward. learned this habit from The Best Year Yet. With the new year, I thought it appropriate to share a few highlights from the past year with you. After all, it is thanks to you, that I am where I am today.

1. July Favorites With Tati Westbrook

This is my collaboration with Tati Westbrook of Glam Life Guru on YouTube. One of the most exciting things I have gotten to do because of YouTube. I have respected Tati for years and it was a wonderful moment to be recognized by such a professional and get to work with her. Tati also had me appear on Style Code Live in the August 1st Episode. You can watch it here.

2. How To Pick an Urban Decay Naked Palette Updated 

One of my most popular videos that I made an update to in December 2015 and still one of my highest viewed! My first How To Pick an Urban Decay Naked Palette was created 3 years ago because it was a video I wish I had to watch before buying a palette myself. For 2017, I’ll be doing a LORAC Pro version, so stay tuned!

3. New In Beauty August

It’s no surprise one of the first videos after my collaboration with Tati is also one of my highest viewed videos. In 2016, I started my New In Beauty Series. Each month I share with you new product launches and include a giant bag of beauty goodies as a giveaway. One of my most popular series which I will continue in 2017.

4. How To Pick a Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

You really do love review videos that help you compare different palettes with swatches and breakdowns! This video focuses on all the different Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes.

5. Sephora VIB Sale Haul & Recommendations

My haul videos are a favorite on my channel. This video is all about what I picked up before the Sephora VIB Sale as well as recommendations. This past year I was able to team up with Ebates to offer a giveaway for two $100 gift cards to Sephora. You can bet I’ll be doing a ton more giveaways in 2017.
